so finally I have time to make a picture (not a good one) and submit my second painting ever...

it is based on wonderful shot called whispering forest made by Ferice:

my version is far from original, but Iīm still learning :-) doing my best

I will be incredibly thankful for any suggestions how to move on and imrove my skills

VERY good. Especially for a person who doesn't paint much. perhaps just a few touches around the picture with a brighter colour? It can really change a painting as a whole. Seeing a picture before it has been changed like that, and seeing it after, you see it in an entirely diffrent way.

I made a several mistakes (besides the low quality of skill) during the process of paining... thereīs still a lot that I donīt know about oil colours, but Iīm not giving up on them ;)
If you like colour, Iīm just working on a new picture and itīs much more colourful ;) but it will take some time to finish it ;)
